Butter and Egg Days Parade and Festival

Be part of this annual celebration as Petaluma celebrates the 38th year of the Butter and Egg Days with the theme "It’s Always Punny in Petaluma – Celebrating all that is udder-ly egg-ceptional in Sonoma County and Clo the Cow’s 50th Birthday."! Brimming with authentic small town pride, Petaluma’s Butter and Egg Days Parade pays tribute to Petaluma’s place in history as the “World’s Egg Basket” and the community’s rich agricultural heritage. The parade steps off at noon and will march through the historic downtown, surrounded by a festival of fun and activities. Witness the Clover Kids’ Parade precededing the main one, where a procession of preschoolers and primary grade youngsters march with their families. Cow chips and donkey apples will take flight in front of McNear’s, and the always popular “Cutest Chick Contest” will be at the Petaluma Egg Farm stage on Kentucky Street outside of Copperfield’s Books.
