Art in the Redwoods Festival

What began among the redwoods on Gualala ridge in 1961 has grown to a weekend attraction for thousands. This popular weekend event features art from near and far along with free entertainment and artists booths. Now on it's 57th year, enjoy and immerse yourself in the creativity and beauty of the inspired works. The heart of the festival is the Exhibit of Fine Art throughout the building, displaying paintings, photographs, sculpture, glass art, and more. The Festival is in the beautiful grounds and is filled with vendor booths offering items including jewelry, ceramics, wood, tiles, weavings, and more.

Cotati Accordion Festival

Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 09:30 AM to 07:00 PM

La Plaza Park, 60 West Cotati Avenue, Cotati, California 94931

Established in 1991, this non-profit organization was created to promote the love of the accordion and to support local youth service organizations. Now in its 28th year, the Cotati Accordion Festival is a two-day, multi-cultural, multi-generational accordion extravaganza held two weekends before Labor Day in La Plaza Park in downtown Cotati. Festivities begin on Friday before the festival. See 40+ bands on seven stages including the Jam Tent, Polka/Zydeco, two main stages, Accordion's Apocalypse Stage, Student Stage, and Friar Tuck's Pub. This year's theme is "Woodstock of the Accordion World", Two Days of Peace and Music.
