1. Free Movies on the Green
Bring your kids and enjoy this timeless tale of love, magic and acceptance. Green Music Center presents you with a double feature of Disney's Beauty and the Beast on Weill Lawn. Reminisce your childhood and have your kids appreciate the 1991 animated film, then watch the latest version with 2017's live action retelling. Don't forget to bring your blankets and popcorn!

2. Flynn Creek Circus at SOMO Village
Visit the Big Top as Mendocino's own Flynn Creek Circus makes a pit stop at the SOMO Village Event Center in Rohnert Park on August 24-27! The circus is a family-friendly, all human event with live performing acts from jugglers and acrobats to tightrope walkers and comedians. With their international cast and a mission to radically inspire audiences by demonstrating disciplined artistic and athletic risk, Flynn Creek Circus ’Inter-Active’ fuses comedy, improvisation, and jaw dropping skills to create a completely new genre in circus-theater.

3. Bodega Seafood Art and Wine Festival
The 23rd annual Bodega Seafood Art and Wine Festival showcases wineries and breweries, artists and craftspeople, as well as featuring outstanding entertainment, and of course a delicious selection of seafood vendors. Held on a rugged, rural ranch, a few miles inland from the spectacular Sonoma Coast, this is both a sophisticated and down-home festival the whole family can enjoy. Feast on mouth-watering BBQ oysters, crab cakes, or cedar plank salmon. Parents can tickle their drinking taste buds with the wine and micro brewed beer tasting, whch will feature over two dozen wineries and a dozen microbreweries. There will be entertainment on three stages, plus a juried art/craft marketplace, and of course, kids' activities.
