Transhumance Festival 2019

Come and join in the fun as Petaluma celebrates the Transhumance Festival! This celebration honors grassland culture and the work of shepherds, farmers and ranchers by bringing the outer landscapes to the village center. Sheep will be herded through the streets of Petaluma downtown to Steamer landing park, to bring awareness and show the connectivity of how our food choices affect our landscapes, local economies and waterways.

Featuring the original songs for which the choir has become well-loved, the Spring program of "40 years of Music from Home" promises to deliver sweet and soulful harmonies, expertly rendered accompaniment, even cathartic laughter and tears that will engage and inspire the audience.
