The Great Petaluma Chili Cook-Off Salsa & Beer Tasting has been a Petaluma favorite tradition for over 20 years. It has become the “must attend” annual event in the North Bay each spring offering Chili, Salsa and Beer Tasting along with musical entertainment and a very fun day! Teams of individuals and service organizations pull together to compete for trophies while businesses and restaurants are given the opportunity to attract potential new customers through this event. Hosted by Cinnabar Theater, don’t miss this famous celebration of local chefs and amazing microbrews: with 40 Chili teams, 20 Breweries and 15 Salsa teams, you're in for a HOT HOT treat!

Petaluma Homestead Down-Home Day

Join contests and parent-and-child games with prizes from local feed and county store sponsors. Feast on barbecue chicken, and libations as you await a grand drawing!

Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival

Now on its 124th year, Together We Rose is the theme for the 2018 Annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival. A time-honored tradition in Sonoma County and one of the oldest and largest continuously occurring events in Northern California, the Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival celebrates this year by acknowledging the impact of the devastating fire storms of 2017 which will become another historical moment in Santa Rosa’s 150-year timeline. Award winning floats, marching groups, non-profit organizations, and school bands will fill the streets with themed entries as they honor Together We Rose and Santa Rosa's strength as a community. After the parade, the fun continues with a festival in Downtown Santa Rosa. Enjoy family fun activities, music, and a variety of food booths.
