1. 12th Annual Old Grove Festival

The Annual Old Grove Festival takes place at the historic Redwood Forest Theater in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Showing an outstanding variety of musical and theatrical productions, the festival aims to help Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods raise funds to support their educational and stewardship programs and their continued advocacy for all State Parks. This year features Americana headliner Dead Winter Carpenters and Bluegrass opener One Grass Two Grass! Event reservations are limited to alleviate environmental impacts and due to parking limitations.

2. Sonoma Valley Uncorked

Join this popular wine and food tasting event and enjoy hand crafted wines produced by amateur wine makers in Sonoma Valley. Savor a variety of red, white & rose’ wines hand-crafted by more than 20 members of the Sonoma Home Winemakers Club, sample an array of delicious appetizers & small bites contributed by local chefs, and bid on an array of fabulous silent auction lots including cooking classes, wine dinners, spa treatments, trips, and entertainment. All of this while receiving live entertainment by local musician Sean Carscadden. Proceeds from the event will fund programs and materials for outreach by the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and Kiwanis of Sonoma Plaza.

3. Sonoma Plein Air Festival

Enjoy this celebration of outdoor painting while supporting art education. Thirty-six nationally renowned artists paint on location throughout Sonoma County and present their work for sale at the Sonoma Plaza. 40% of all proceeds are a direct tax-deductible donation to support art education for youth in Sonoma Valley. Watch the artists' demonstrations, enjoy live music, and participate in hands-on art activities for all ages, including children’s art classes directed by Sonoma Plein Air Foundation grant recipients Sonoma Community Center and Art Escape.
