Summer in Sonoma County is often celebrated with a tour of the wineries and vineyards that abound the area.

With a lot of things on a temporary halt, most tours and events are cancelled. But that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy a visit to the amazing locales anytime. Some wineries are now open for their tasting experiences. Take a look at a few you might want to check out!

Ram's Gate Winery

Founded in 2011, the winery's 28-acre estate is perched on a rolling hillside, where the San Francisco Bay meets the edges of Napa and Sonoma counties. Ram's Gate has been recognized for their personality-driven wines as well as their commitment to sustainable harvest and farming. Schedule a tour with them to enjoy their Wine and Food pairing events, Open Air Tasting, or a Member Exclusive visit.

Truett Hurst Winery

5610 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg CA 95448

Founded in 2007 by two winemaking families and longtime friends Phil and Sylvia Hurst and Paul and Heath Dolan, Truett Hurst has 26 acres of farmland with 15 acres of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah planted. Reservations are required to visit, and tastings are not allowed at the moment so release wines are available for purchase by the bottle.  

Ledson Winery

Ledson's farming legacy spans five generations of families whose trials and tribulations only served to make them stronger. Producing more than 70 wines annually at an upwards of 20 different varietals and blends from as many as 20 appellations, Ledson wines represent the largest ultra-premium wine portfolio of any family-owned winery in the United States. Francis Ford Coppola Winery

A getaway to adventure, Francis Ford Coppola Winery combines film memorabilia, a restaurant serving up memorable cuisine, and more than forty wines produced at their state-of-the-art winemaking facility for an unforgettable and unique experience. Lynmar Estate

Immerse yourself in the Russian River Valley experience and come around Lynmar Estate. Lynn Fritz first purchased Quail Hill Ranch and Vineyards in 1980, which had some of the oldest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines planted in the Russian River Valley Lynmar began a small winemaking activity in the early 1990s and produced small amounts of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and over the next 35 years, Lynn purchased several contiguous properties which have been amalgamated into the stunning estate that is Lynmar today.
